WHAT I'M

ABOUT

Jason Perugia

Jason Perugia hails from the Adirondack Mountains and is a product of the magical, neon painted era of Nintendo, gross out humor, and the irreverent absurdity of Nickelodeon shows like Salute Your Shorts, Pete and Pete, Rugrats and Ren and Stimpy. That brand of 90s strangeness directly influenced his signature creativity and eventual perspective as a screenwriter that followed Jason into adulthood. Paired with a respect and passion for the works of Hunter S. Thompson, Eugene Ionesco, Samuel Beckett and Kurt Vonnegut, Jason continued to hone his off-beat creativity in entertainment throughout his college career where he completed his Bachelor’s in Theatre. Those early experiences grew into a life long relationship with the stage, working in theatres across the country.
Transitioning from his life working with stage productions, Jason pushed to pursue his latent passion for film, specifically  Screenwriting, which led to him earning his advanced degree in Screenwriting. Closing on his educative pursuits, Jason continues creating engaging scripts and stories that explore strong characters and their relationships with themselves, others and the worlds around them. he approaches each new project with the same vigor and enthusiasm that has stayed with him throughout his magical formative years.
